My “10 Picture Tour”

Earlier this week, I read a blog post by @birklearns where he shared a “10 Picture Tour” of his school. I found this a great way to look not only at his school but to think about how I see my own. In response to that post, here is my “10 Picture Tour” of my elementary school. It’s only in its eighth year of exitence, but it has it’s own character for sure.
Student awards for the Reflections program
The LMC with the rug that symbolizes our diversity of learners
Sensory room signs
3rd Grade Rainforest Hallway Display
2nd and 3rd Grade Broken Hearts
Respect is a key part of our behavioral teaching
With recently installed digital projectors these TVs don’t get as much use.
We are the Owls and these are student owls.

Digital projectors and Google Docs are used everywhere, even in PE.

Every student made an owl in art the year we opened and now they hang forever in the LMC.

Well, that’s our elementary school. It’s not very large, but there’s lots of pieces of our students making it the place it is.
